Running a business is not an easy task. It requires patience, time, courage and discipline. In order to prosper in any business, one must venture into something that he is passionate about. This is because if you do not really love what you do and you are just after the profit, you will easily give up when the going gets tough. But the one who loves and respects his craft will not just abandon the ship even in rough times. He will stay and find ways because he sincerely loves what he is doing.
This is the lesson that I learned the difficult way. I invested into a business that I don’t really like; I get bankrupt as a result. Then a colleague who is an experienced businessman advised me to invest into something that I really love. So I ventured into the business of IT, this is my real passion anyway.

I have the drive for the business and solid professional background to back me up. I worked as Web Developer for 10 years and eventually became the Chief Technical Officer of a big company. I was even sent to Hong Kong and worked for Hong Kong Web Design for a year. It was a breeze.
So I put up my own company, I started with small team of PHP Developers and Web Designers. I carefully screened people for my business because human resource is very important. I rented a small office; I also got a flat which will house my team at times that they have to work over time for very urgent and important projects. It is important to support your employees and offer them facilities that could help them to work well. For those who prefer to go home rather than staying at the flat, we have a company driver to send the employees to their houses using my Land Rover. I just bought this car last year at cheap new cars, the price was way affordable compared to your usual car dealers. My Land Rover serves my new company well and I am happy.
So far, my business is doing well. I have excellent employees and stable clients. But not everything is work for me, I also take some time off to relax and recharge. When my friend Chase invited me for a beer, I instantly agreed to meet him. I was surprised when he informed me that he is getting married soon and he already bought a house. When I arrived home, I realized that I forgot to buy an anniversary gift for my girlfriend and for my favorite nephew’s 5th birthday. Thus, I hurriedly went online and searched for nice gifts.
